Media Relations

Planned and organized a media event launching a consultation process for the Calgary Cultural and Racial Diversity Task Force.

Prepared media kit for the opening of a new plant at Suncor’s oil sands operations in Fort McMurray. Received national attention and province-wide broadcast and print coverage.

Prepared media kit and conducted media relations for an archaeological dig at a NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. site. Received province-wide broadcast and print coverage.

Crisis Communications

Produced a manual guiding communications during a merger or acquisition.

Managed crisis communications for pipeline operations and conventional facilities.

Conducted media relations for a well site bombing, fire and fatality.

Special Event Planning

Planned and coordinated the launch of Suncor’s new logo at its oil sands operations.

Coordinated communications for the launch of a $190 million sulphur reduction plant.
